Sportsman Standardizes Seakeeper Ride Across Entire 2025 Lineup

Sportsman is the first builder to standardize complete underway stabilization system on all models

FORT MYERS, FL. (October 22, 2024)—Seakeeper, Inc., the leader in marine motion control, announces Sportsman Boats as the first builder to standardize Seakeeper Ride for complete underway stabilization across its entire model lineup.

“Sportsman has been a wonderful partner since the 2022 launch of Seakeeper Ride,” said Seakeeper President & CEO Andrew Semprevivo. “Their sales growth in a turbulent marine market is a testament to their commitment to innovation and providing their customers with the best technology available. Now, no future Sportsman owner will know boating without Seakeeper Ride, and will experience the smoothest ride possible while underway.”

“This integration represents three years of dedicated work, resulting in hull designs that allow for a seamless and flush installation of Seakeeper Ride, ensuring the ultimate OEM-level installation,” said Chief Marketing Officer of Sportsman Boats Victor Gonzalez. “This advancement delivers unparalleled performance and ride comfort to all our Sportsman owners, from 21 to 35 ft., enhancing their on-water experience like never before. The additional features and benefits from Seakeeper Ride add to the value of owning a Sportsman Boat.”

As an initial launch partner of Seakeeper Ride, Sportsman integrated the product into six models for 2023 and two more were added for model year 2024. Committed to the performance and value of Seakeeper Ride, Sportsman’s design and tooling teams added a dedicated pocket for the technology on their boats. They worked on an aggressive timeline to accommodate the system integration for a full adoption on all 13 Sportsman 2025 models, including the Heritage, Masters, and Open series.

Both companies will exhibit at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (FLIBS) from October 30 through November 3. Seakeeper Ride will be at booth 2008 and Sportsman Boats at booth 2086 in the Broward County Convention Center, and Seakeeper Ride will have additional space at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center in booth 1043. About Seakeeper Ride
Seakeeper Ride is the first-of-its-kind Vessel Attitude Control System, eliminating up to 70% of pitch and roll underway to dramatically improve the performance of vessels up to ~42ft. Seakeeper Ride controllers mount to the boat’s transom below the waterline. Using proprietary inertial sensing hardware and software, the system takes 1,000 measurements per second to understand the boat’s behavior in all three axes. It then commands deployment of the custom-designed rotary blades, making 100 adjustments per second creating lift that manages vessel motion instantaneously, without touching a button.

A segment of Seakeeper, Inc., the global leader in marine motion control, Seakeeper Ride was launched in 2022 and is based in Fort Myers, Florida. For more information, visit ride.seakeeper.com.
