XO Boats and Seakeeper Ride Partner for Enhanced Stabilization Technology

Automatic Stabilization for a Smooth Boating Experience

XO Boats has announced a new partnership with Seakeeper, integrating Seakeeper’s latest stabilization system, Seakeeper Ride, across all XO boat models. Known for their innovative gyro stabilizers, Seakeeper’s new Seakeeper Ride system offers a significant upgrade in underway stability for boaters, especially in challenging conditions. XO is among the first in Europe to bring this cutting-edge technology to the consumer market, marking a notable advancement in the European boating industry.

The Seakeeper Ride system is designed as a Vessel Attitude Control System (VACS), which works differently from traditional stabilizers by stabilizing the vessel while it is underway rather than at rest. Unlike typical trim tabs, Seakeeper Ride is installed externally below the waterline and uses rotary blades to manage the boat’s lateral balance, effectively countering pitch, roll, and yaw. This system has been rigorously tested by XO’s technical team, which found it to be well-suited to XO’s deep V-hull design, known for offering stability and balance in rough waters.

Automatic Stabilization for a Smooth Boating Experience
The Seakeeper Ride system is fully automatic, responding in real time to the boat’s movements across all three axes. Proprietary sensing hardware and advanced software ensure the system accurately interprets the vessel’s behavior, deploying stabilizing measures to create a smoother, safer, and more controlled ride. This technology brings benefits not only to seasoned boaters but also to those new to boating, by making handling in unpredictable conditions more manageable and enjoyable.

Aligning with XO’s Vision of Professional-Level Boating
XO’s partnership with Seakeeper Ride aligns with the company’s focus on high-performance boats for demanding conditions. By standardizing Seakeeper Ride across its 8-13 meter models, XO demonstrates a commitment to providing a reliable and professional boating experience. Erkki Talvela of XO Boats emphasizes that this partnership is an extension of XO’s ongoing mission to equip boaters with robust technology that meets professional standards.

Dynamic Innovation Optimizes Comfort And Nautical Excellence
Will Cimino, Chief Commercial Officer of Seakeeper Ride, highlights XO’s decision to include Seakeeper Ride in all models as a step toward setting new industry standards in comfort and safety. “By standardizing Seakeeper Ride, XO Boats is making advanced stabilization accessible across various boat sizes, responding to a growing demand for smoother, safer rides in diverse conditions,” says Cimino.

Partnership Offers Reliable Control, Optimizing Dynamic, Innovative Operation
For XO Boats’ customers, the collaboration with Seakeeper Ride provides access to one of the most advanced stabilization systems on the market, supporting an overall improved boating experience. With Seakeeper Ride as a standard feature, XO continues to offer boats designed for individuals who prioritize performance, comfort, and stability on the water.
