Seakeeper Inc. last week announced it is offering its Ride system for refit installations through its dealer network.

Seakeeper Ride is an attitude control system that the company says eliminates up to 70% of pitch and roll underway. Designed for boats between 19 and 35 feet LOA, it was previously only available on new boat applications.

“Since our launch, we’ve been badgered by boaters asking when Seakeeper Ride will be available for refits,” Andrew Semprevivo, Seakeeper president and CEO, said in a statement“Our team has worked hard to ramp up production and ensure our dealers can meet the demand and provide the appropriate support.”

Qualifying vessels must be non-stepped, planing fiberglass V-bottoms from 19 to 35 feet long with single or twin outboards or sterndrives. They also need to have a multifunction display with an NMEA 2000 connection.

Refits will be available through Seakeeper Ride dealers initially in the United States. Seakeeper said it will expand to international installers in the future.
